Pros the work itself was not stressful. Cons management. This is a job of data entry, with flexible hours and management that listens. The job is to support the railroads, to make sure that the trains make it to where they are going. I appreciated the time I spent there. The pay for this job is lousy. The drivers are better off becoming truck drivers with the time and effort they put in.

Due to this lousy pay managers suffer having to do the drivers job because most drivers refuse to work. Having been a manager you have to put up with lazy people, and at the same time your upper management is standing on your next. This is a very stressful job and I do not recommend it to anyone. The hours are up and down so do not look for full time work because once the railroad slows down you better have another job lined up.
